AVON ANEW Genics Treatment Concentrate Review

AVON ANEW Genics Treatment Concentrate

AVON ANEW Genics Treatment Concentrate is the newest addition to the AVON ANEW Range of skin care products and this particular product comes with big promises that I personally find hard to believe, they seem a little to good to be true!  But I bought the product for myself as I was in need of a new serum/moisturiser anyway and thought why not try this.

The product, contains a patented Youthgen Technology* and promises:

  • Overnight: lines and wrinkles look diminished
  • In 3 Days: Deep wrinkles look plumped
  • In 2 weeks: Dramatically reduces the look of age spots and discolourations
  • In 8 weeks: Takes up to 10 years off your look (Based on a consumer study of 157 people.)

Pretty hefty promises!!!  Some I suspect only surgery could achieve!

So the big question is, does it work?

My initial impressions of this product are so over whelmingly positive, it has after only a week of using it changed the texture of my skin and it has notably improved the appearance of old scaring I have.  My skin feels smoother and looks brighter, and yes, I think some fine lines do indeed look diminished.  Whether I will look 10 years younger before Christmas and need to start carrying ID to get served alcohol in bars.. well I don’t know, but I’ll keep you updated. Kiehls Ultra Facial Oil Free Lotion

I was fortunate enough recently to have been given the opportunity to review Kiehls Ultra Facial Oil Free Lotion as a guest reviewer on Cornflakegirlsmusings blog.

Kiehl’s ultra facial oil free lotion is a moisturizing lotion for normal to oily skin types and promises to reduce the appearance of oil on the skin while locking in moisture.

Read the full and detailed review of Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil Free Lotion on at Cornflakegirls blog.

If you haven’t already read Cornflakegirls blog get your makeup lovin’ rear ends over there, Paula covers all things beauty related, and as she says herself, ‘you can expect some rambling about reading, films, tv, rugby, politics, and gluten free cooking/baking as well’.   All good stuff.

A big thanks to Paula aka Cornflakegirl for the opportunity to be a guest reviewer. x

Get Your Free Wrinkle Reader!

I am a bit of a sucker for advertising especially if it’s giving me something for nothing.   Garnier have now come up with a ‘Wrinkle Reader’, and to test the ‘Wrinkle Reader’ they are also offering packs of 14 Garnier Ultra Lift samples when you register for the ultra lift challenge in Ireland or in the UK

So what’s a Wrinkle Reader?  It’s a bit like the colour chart dentists have to match your tooth colour, only this has images of crows feet

  1. Match your crow’s feet wrinkles (if you have them) to the closest image and note it down.  Note that some of them are really quite deep looking, so if you’re only a young one this isn’t for you.
  2. Apply UltraLift day everyday.
  3. Take note of your progress on the chart.
  4. Once you have finished charting your progress, you revert back to garnier with your results to be in with a chance to win a luxury pampering treatment (they don’t mention what it is) but there are five available to win every day.

Even if you just want to test out your current anti wrinkle/firming cream you can print off a free ‘Wrinkle Reader’ and chart its effectiveness.

I’ve just ordered my free samples and I’m looking forward to giving it a go, and will post my results here when I’m finished to let you know how I get on, wrinkles and all!!!

To get your free 14 day trial pack and ‘Wrinkle Reader’ go to Garnier Ultra Lift Challenge ROI or UK
