Looking Peachy Kirsten?

11 Jun

Kirsten Dunst CFDA awards looking peachyI generally like Kirsten Dunst, she’s more girl next door than most actresses and is kind of plainly good-looking, if that makes any sense.  She usually looks quite natural and not overly made up, even when she’s on the red carpet.  But she looks like a flustered bruised peach in this photo at the CFDA awards in June 2011.

Given that Kirsten is very pale skinned and the fact that she has pink undertones to her skin, this Gal feels she should avoid blushers and eyeshadows in shades of peach/coral or indeed anything with overly yellow tones.

Mix yellow with pink and you are going to get orange or the icky shade of peach that Kirsten is sporting.

A pink blusher and more pink toned neturals on her eyes would have been far more flattering on her.   Estee Lauder Silky Powder Blush in Pink Kiss would be good on Kirsten.  Look, just because coral is all the rage doesn’t mean you have to do it.  As my mum would say…If everyone else put their head in the fire….would you?  I’ll not mention how I feel about the hair, the suit and the hoopy earrings!?!!

Not digging Kirsten’s look at all in that photo, nothing appeals to me.

That Estee Lauder Pink Kiss is one of my favourite blushes.
