With summer around the corner, I guess it’s time to ditch the heavier foundations in favour or something more natural, fresh and light. So I thought I would revisit some of my mineral foundations and tinted moisturisers, up first:
Revlon Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup
Not a typical tinted moisturiser, this foundation is some where between a tinted moisturiser and a light weight foundation but it does have a sheer light weight quality. It is a bit unusual in that it goes on white and adjusts to match your skin tone. It has an SPF of 15 and comes in a limited range of shades (light, medium, and deep) but it’s pretty easy to get a good match off these as it does blend into your skin tone. It’s light weight and is moisturizing enough for those with dry skin, but not so moisturing that those with slightly oily skin should steer clear.
I found it really natural looking and it gave me a healthy glow but the coverage is as one would expect, not great at all, it’s just too light and sheer for me, but on the plus side it doesn’t sit into wrinkles so it keeps you looking fresher long, and that I do love. Costs about €15 and while this product is okay for everyday – running errands type of use etc., this Gal is not going to put away the full coverage makeup just yet.
